Iulia-Dana Pușcașu is an artist working within mediums ranging from writing and drawing to audio-video and new media. Her work combines theoretical research with a particular visual artistic approach, typically drawing on concepts and methods in philosophy and paradigms of communication in our highly mediated socio-cultural complex. Pușcașu graduated with a BA in fine arts and an MPhil in philosophy, and is currently a PhD candidate at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. Recent exhibitions that display her work include Graduate Curated at MARe in Bucharest and Television Pavilion at The Wrong Biennale, along with contributions to several art and scientific literature publications and conferences.
